Taking A Break

A long time ago, in a frozen tundra far, far away, I was a struggling student at BYU-Idaho. That semester, I was taking 2 classes, failing 1, and spending 35-40 hours per week on my assignments. That was the last time I was an active photographer. Well, I’m taking on that class I failed for round 2.

Since then, I’ve done my fair share of traveling, started a band, left that band, got into music production, moved states, and got a job in special education. I don’t have 35-40 hours a week to pour into photography anymore, but something is better than nothing.

The Aquarium Shoot

About a week after I finished that insane semester, I received a call from my dad. He had a training in Atlanta, Georgia for his job. He invited me to stay at his hotel and travel to a different U.S. city every night. After a day in ATL, I ended up in Buenos Aires, but that’s a story for another time.

While we explored ATL, we ventured to the Georgia Aquarium. It was pretty cool. There were lots of fish. Anyways…

I Like Taking Photos

Over the first few years of my photography journey, I loved editing. I would spend hours looking up lightroom tutorials, and messing with the look of photos I had taken with my friends. Well, over the past couple years I’ve probably downloaded more updates to my editing software than edited photos. It might have been burnout, but a lot of it was trying to figure out how to edit these gosh dang photos! I was never satisfied with how they came out. They were always too grainy, or too boring. In the meantime, I haven’t stopped taking pictures, so I have a lot of material to share.

Conclusion
